Paul Gough

Professor Paul Gough is Pro Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President at RMIT University, Melbourne. A painter, broadcaster and author he has exhibited globally and is represented in the Imperial War Museum, London; Canadian War Museum, Ottawa; and the National War Memorial, New Zealand. In addition to three books on the British painter Stanley Spencer, his publications include ‘A Terrible Beauty’: British Artists and the First World War (2010) and ‘Brothers in Arms’, John and Paul Nash (2014). He curated ‘Back from the Front’: Art, Memory and the Aftermath of War (2014-15) and has written extensively about the street artist, Banksy.
