Lena Korma

Lena Korma is a scientific member of the French School of Athens (EfA), co-supervisor with Tassos Anastassiadis (Director of Modern Studies at the School), of the five-year programme on the social history of the Armée d’Orient. In 2009 she defended her PhD at the Université de Paris I-Panthéon Sorbonne with a scholarship from the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation, focusing on the extent of social and economical immigration of refugees from Asia Minor to France, 1916-1939. She has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Foundation for Education and European Culture at the French School of Athens, while she has also participated as a postdoctoral collaborator in the programme on Greek historiography of the 20th century at the University of Peloponnese funded by the EU Aristeia programme.
