- 1995 MA in Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies, and in Classical Philology, at the University of Vienna.
- 1998 PhD (Dr. phil.) in Byzantine Studies at the University of Vienna.
- 1998-2019 scientific collaborator of the Byzantine Seals Project of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, since 2011 Senior Staff Scientist, since 2012 leader of this project.
- 2011- Leader of Seals Projects at the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Vienna): 1) Corpus der byzantinischen Siegel mit metrischen Legenden, and 2) Systematische Photothek zur byzantinischen Siegelkunde
